Tristan Schulze was born in 1964 in Saxony (Germany) geboren. He studied Cello in Dresden, played in an orchestra, where he got to know the classical opera and concert repertoire. He studied Indian Classical Music in Benares (India) and conducting and composition in Vienna. He founded the string trio Triology.
1995 - 2005
Together with Daisy Jopling and Alesksey Igudesman, he founded the string trio Triology. With this ensemble he played many concerts in countries as Japan, U.S.A, Mexico, Australia and all over Europe. They collabareted with artists as Julian Rachlin, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Bobby McFerrin und Hans Zimmer. less

He frequently works for Hans Zimmer as a solo cellist (i.e. Inferno, Twelve Years A Slave), as well as a film music composer for several Austrian TV productions. less
